Here’s a highlight of some of the area’s upcoming events right through the July 4th celebrations.
Third Friday Music Series Safety Harbor
This long-standing event has grown to be one of the premier street festivals in the Tampa Bay area and the State of Florida. The 3rd Friday Music Series features Shopping, Dining and Entertainment for both locals and visitors.
The event runs from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm on every 3rd Friday of the month — 12 months of the year. Main Street is closed from Bayshore Blvd. to 6th Avenue with entertainment at the Gazebo in John Wilson Park and throughout downtown. Bring the family out for an evening filled with shopping, dining and entertainment. Browse the arts & crafts and food vendors. The downtown businesses and restaurants are open late. Sour, Berliner Weisse & Lambic Beer Festival

Taste something completely different! Cajun Cafe on the Bayou hosts their annual event from 2-6 p.m. featuring samples of over 100 different sour ales. Taste the goodness as you relax in their large, shaded beer-garden situated on the banks of the Cross Bayou. Entry to the festival includes unlimited beer tastings, a souvenir tasting glass, and a Cajun Plate filled with your favorite Cajun foods. Dunedin Doggie Rescue Fundraiser will also be hosted at the event featuring raffles and prizes.
St. Pete Crab & Music Festival

Taste buds and bodies alike will be dancing at this seafood and music festival hosted in downtown St. Pete’s Vinoy Park! Sample delicious crab-infused dishes from 15-20 different vendors. Sway to music from popular local entertainers such as The Black Honkeys, Lyfe Jennings, Jahfari, the Bus Stop Band and more, which will be emceed by celebrity host, Ronald “Winky” Wright. The festival happens from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.
Clearwater Celebrates America

Celebrate this Fourth of July with a blast at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. This FREE family celebration will feature music, food, drinks and local vendors. Gates open at 4 p.m. and music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Children’s activities will run 5-9 p.m. and the night will be topped off with the largest fireworks display in the Tampa Bay area at 9:30 p.m.
Safety Harbor 4th of July Celebrations

Bring the whole family out for a July 4th Celebration, Safety Harbor style! The day will start with a patriotic parade down Main Street from 10 a.m. to noon. In the evening, there will be children’s activities, live entertainment, and food vendors starting at 5 p.m. Grab a good seat in the marina or the waterfront park to watch the fireworks display lighting up the sky at 9 p.m.
